Our bedroom is the private sanctuary where we retreat to every night to escape the stress of the outside world. Commonly known as the Master Bedroom in interior design, this room is where you nurture your love relationship or desire to bring a love relationship into your life.
To create a well designed bedroom, you can use a variety of practical tools and guidelines such as the following Feng Shui tips:
1- Wall colors:
Check a color wheel at your local paint store and select soothing colors for your bedroom walls that calm the mind. You can look into colors such as beige, light blues, light greens, light orange or yellow, etc. The Master Bedroom is a place for relaxation and rest.
Whether you prefer traditional, transitional or contemporary furniture, the placement of furniture in the main bedroom is very important. The bed in particular should NOT be in direct alignment (opposite) with any doorway, including bathrooms. Place your bed in a position of command, meaning where you can see people entering the room when you are in bed.
When placing art in your master bedroom, use pieces depicting a realistic, loving relationship (not a mythical figure with a human). A couple in love is a perfect representation of good Feng Shui art in the main bedroom.
4- Symbolism of two:
The master bedroom is best expressed by anchoring the symbolism of two into our environments. Fill your bedroom with objects in pairs: Candles, complementary statues, matching similar lamps, and two end tables or nightstands of the same size.
Once you achieved an overall design and balance for your master bedroom, place fresh flowers (such as two roses in a bud base), healthy plants, and accessories in the color of red, pink and white to create a romantic ambiance.
